Bands
The Generators
This is not your average blues band. The four members of The Generators have the good sense and taste to throw funk, soul and rock into the mix to keep things interesting. Individually they have toured nationally with artists as diverse as Ben Orr (of the Cars), Must, Johnny A., The Joshua Tree and Heavy Metal Horns.Their eclectic tastes give them the ability to capture the soul and grit of early r&b while keeping an ear to the present and future. At a Generators show, you’ll hear some great obscure 50s rock ‘n’ roll, 60s soul and 70s funk, and beefed-up arrangements of classic blues numbers. They have also begun working on a batch of originals that will be debuted soon.
